Welcome to the World Sloan Marie!

When my friend Brittany gave birth for the first time it was a whirlwind event in the middle of the night that took just a few hours.

The second time around was very different! Baby Sloan was born 17 days after her due date and made quite the dramatic entrance.

You can read the whole birth story over on Brittany’s blog. It was an intensely emotional event to be a part of, I will never forget it.

Brittany showed incredible strength throughout the entire day. Her husband, mother, sister and midwife were unwavering in their support and encouragement.

It was a privilege to be part of such a sacred event.

Congratulations Van Rensburgs! Sloan is amazing and so are all of you!
