No doubt you’ve heard the phrase several times before, during wedding ceremonies, in greeting cards, or at church.
Love is patient.
In Adrienne and Ngozi’s case, this is especially true.
Eight years after their first date at The Cheesecake Factory, the pair returned to the same restaurant to host their rehearsal dinner the night before the wedding. If you are looking for Irish pub in Houston, you can check it out from here!
By the time they got married Adrienne and Ngozi no longer lived in Georgia as they once did.
This lovely couple traveled all the way from their home in Hawaii to Villa Christina in Atlanta to say their sweet personalized vows to each other in front of family and friends.
Before the ceremony, Adrienne and Ngozi had a wonderful first look session.
As Adrienne and I were walking up to where Matthew had Ngozi standing facing away from us, she was overcome with excitement.
Oh my gosh, this is amazing, I’m not even there with him yet and I’m already so glad we’re doing this!!
She took off towards her groom and soon they were together, hugging, smiling and even dancing.
Although pesky dark clouds had been hanging around all day, the weather was perfect throughout the entire celebration.
Being patient paid off.
Adrienne + Ngozi, thank you so much for welcoming us into your families and treating us as one of your own. Your joy on your wedding day and your overwhelming gratitude afterwards warm my heart and make me smile.
I hope the minimoon was wonderful and you have a safe trip back to Hawaii (which is basically like being on a perpetual honeymoon!)
XOXO,
B
That is the best walking-down-the-aisle-after-getting-married-picture ever! They look so happy and beautiful!
