If you’re in the wedding industry you know that there are a ton of groups out there that try to get you to join them.
They promise to teach you all of these things, help you in all of these ways…after you pay them.
This is one of those situations where your mom’s advice was right: the best things in life are free.
YOU are the only person who change the direction of your business and the type of clients you attract. Paying someone to spout lovely words at you won’t change that simple fact.
Enter TWIPS.
TWIPS {Twitter Wedding Inspirational Pals} is a virtual wedding community comprised of international wedding vendors of various disciplines within the industry.
The TWIPS community, created to promote camaraderie in the wedding industry, supports its members within a social media based network.
Members are encouraged to educate and inspire one another while promoting, and celebrating the accomplishments, accolades, and advancements of all members.
The fact that there exists a community where people consistently are cheering for each other instead of tearing down their competition is truly an asset to all wedding professionals.
It’s also helpful to brides because the TWIPS blog provides a directory of different types of vendors, all of them kind hearted people that anyone would love to do business with.
I’m proud to be part of the TWIPS community and was honored when they asked me to write a guest post on their blog after Sharan + Jude’s beautiful Indian + Nigerian wedding caught their eye.
