Matthew and I had been talking about going to DC for a while, and we finally made it happen. We stayed with friends in Alexandria, VA for most of our trip and we also spent a night in Baltimore visiting family and friends. We had a wonderful time, even though the drive was 10 hours each way!! Thankfully, I have an amazing husband who drove the whole way and let me nap occasionally in the car 🙂 Here are some pictures from our trip.

Matthew was taking my picture and this happy toddler wandered into it. I love it for so many reasons, but if I explain them to you, you’d think I was weird.

…Where oddly enough, we ran into Denis Leary
Matthew and his cash in front of the Treasury Department…The idea was funnier in my head.
