This weekend Matthew and I traveled a few hours outside of Atlanta to Hendersonville, North Carolina for Jen + Devin’s wedding.
Although not really a destination wedding because Jen is from North Carolina, it was a new place for Matthew and I to visit together, and we were excited to get out of town.
The majority of the people who were in town for the wedding stayed at the nearby Holiday Inn, but when planning our trip to the mountains, I decided that I wanted to do something a little different.
I booked us a room in a cute little Bed and Breakfast right down the street from the wedding venue so that we could enjoy the scenery during our stay. It ended up being just wonderful!
After the rehearsal on Friday we went and explored Jump Off Rock, which is where Matthew would go the next day with the groomsmen for their pre ceremony pictures. We still had our cameras with us, so we had fun taking pictures of each other and the views from up there.
It was great to have some downtime to be able to enjoy our surroundings while in North Carolina.
Stay tuned for pictures from the wedding coming soon!

Pretty standard pictures for us.
We ran into this guy and his bird friends on the way down the mountain.
Our cute home for the weekend.
