When she was still in high school, Erin had a conversation with her best friend about the kind of engagement ring that she would like to have one day when she grew up and found the right man to marry.
She even sketched a rough draft of what the ring would look like, though she soon stashed it away and forgot about it.
Time went by, and eventually Erin met Paul, a sweet guy with a great sense of humor.
They dated for a while, and when things got serious, they began talking about engagement rings.
Erin gave Paul a tiny bit of guidance regarding her preferences, but she really wanted him to pick out the ring that he felt was best.
When Paul proposed to Erin with a stunning ring, she gasped.
Though he had no idea such a picture existed, the ring he had selected looked exactly like the one she had drawn years ago in high school.
Now the best friend Erin had described the perfect ring to is her maid of honor and Paul is definitely the right man to marry.
I met up with these two at The Swan House at The Atlanta History Center for their engagement session on a lovely fall afternoon.
Not only was the weather beautiful that day, but it also happened to be Erin’s birthday!
Paul had planned a wonderful day for his bride and I thought it was so sweet that he had planned their engagement session to fit into the celebration.
I can’t wait for their wedding later this year, I know it’s going to be amazing!
XOXO,
B
