Caesar’s Palace Wedding | Steph + Justin | Las Vegas

Steph and Justin are the kind of couple that once you meet them, it’s clear they were meant to find each other, fall in love, and get married.  Although they grew up only 20 minutes away from each other, they didn’t meet until they started medical school.

Steph found out that Justin was a Steelers fan, and casually suggested that they watch the games together.  After all, they were both from Pittsburgh so it made sense.

Before long, the pair found themselves crazy in love and planning a destination wedding in Vegas.

Neither Matthew nor I had been to Vegas before (actually, neither had Justin, Steph planned the entire thing from the other side of the country!) and we were very excited to join everyone out in the desert for a weekend of fun.

Steph and Justin had decided that they wanted to do a first look (yay!!) and Steph came up with the wonderful idea of heading out to Red Rock Canyon to do the pictures there.  We were all a little nervous about shooting in the desert in the middle of summer, but even though the temperature was just above 100, it was breezy and felt great!

Their first look was such a touching moment and afterwards Steph told me that it was the part of the day that she would remember the most.

After the first look, we headed back into town for the ceremony, which took place in the Venus Garden at Caesar’s Palace. Once they were officially husband and wife everyone took a double decker bus over to the Foundation Room, which is a fantastic venue at the top of the Mandalay Bay hotel.  The views from there are just insane and it was a great place to have a party to celebrate the newlyweds!

Thanks Steph and Justin for being so fabulously fun and in love.  You’re awesome and we had an amazing time with you in Vegas!
