This weekend I shot two weddings. Saturday the wedding was in Savannah with Matthew and Sunday I was in Dahlonega with Bobbi Jo Brooks. For those not familiar with Georgia geography, those location are about five and half hours apart!
Needless to say, by the time that Monday rolled around I was extremely thankful that the whole country had the day off and gladly took advantage of the opportunity to relax. Matthew and I lounged on the couch and watched movies on our glorious new 47in. television and then we went to hang out with our friends Richard and Katie at their neighborhood pool.
Richard and Katie are the parents of the wonderfully adorable Preston and it was so cute to see him hanging out poolside. Of course he was in the shade and we all took turns sitting next to him to make sure he was comfortable. He’ll turn six weeks old this week, so he wasn’t quite ready to go in the water yet, but when he’s ready I can’t wait to teach him how to swim! With seven summers of lifeguarding/swim lesson teaching under my belt I’m sure he’ll be a little fish in no time!
