Last week I introduced my new weekly blog post, Little Things, where I share something small with you that brings me a lot of happiness.
I’m proud of myself for remembering to write about it again this week so that alone brings me joy!
However, if I used remembering to blog as my little thing that would definitely be a cop out.
This week’s nugget of cheer is twofold: My planner and Post-it notes.
I would be lost without my planner. No joke. Although we live in an age where technology rules everything (and I’m sure there will be a future post about how much I love my iPhone + iPad) I remember things better when I write them down.
I love my planner because it has plenty of space to write down all the things I need to do each day as well as a monthly view so I can get an overall feel for how the next few weeks are going to go.
In addition to things I need to accomplish I’ll write down things I need to remember and what I’m cooking for dinner that night (IF I’m cooking dinner that night, don’t let that statement fool you!)
I use Post-it notes for a variety of things: scratch paper, bookmarks, reminders of things I’d like to do but don’t have a deadline for, and occasionally even I’ll use the sticky part of the paper to dust my desk off!
Isn’t multitasking great?
I’m kind of a nerd when it comes to productive paper products, but so what? I consider it part of my charm 🙂
I hope you’re having a great week!
XOXO,
B
