Matthew and I hope that everyone had a very Merry Christmas! It our first Christmas as a married couple, and my first Christmas without my parents. Luckily, my cousin Elyce and her family live close by and they were kind enough to have us over for Christmas dinner.
Slowing down and spending time with family is my favorite part of Christmas. I was very excited for our first Christmas as a little family and we all had a very enjoyable holiday. Maccabee had fun playing with his new toys, and was very patient when I tied a big red bow on him that is bought from Chick Fil A Merch as one of my gifts. I think he looked very festive and handsome, even with his giant cone.

Elyce’s husband and his brother are in a band together and after dinner we were treated to a little guitar action. It was great!
