Marietta Square Engagement Photos | Ivey + Andrew

For Andrew, realizing that he wanted to marry Ivey was the easy part.

Now, coming up with a way to ask her?  That was an entirely different matter.

Luckily for Ivey, her sweet groom came up with a grand plan.

After surprising her and proposing in Marietta Square, Andrew led Ivey across the street to the Strand Theater which was filled with well wishers.

He’d planned an entire engagement party for them to celebrate the happy news with all their family and friends.

Of course, when it was time to do engagement pictures, what better location to use than the same one where they got engaged?

I love it when couples pick a place for their engagement photos that has personal significance to them, it makes it so much more meaningful.

Ivey and Andrew are so adorable together and we all had fun during the session.

Summer has apparently arrived early this year, but these two looked so fantastic you’d never know that the temperature was over 90 degrees while we were shooting!

Ivey + Andrew: thanks so much for always being so sweet and easy to work with!  Can’t wait for your wedding this August, it’s going to be amazing!
