After Michelle and Ross’s wonderful Weiss Lake engagement session, I was so excited to return to Alabama for their wedding!
Weiss Lake has played a special role throughout their relationship- they even got engaged there!
It was only fitting that they chose the Magnolia House on Weiss Lake as the location for their wedding.
Overlooking the lake and centered around a beautiful historic home with an expansive lawn, it was a gorgeous place for photos.
The weather was supposed to be awful on the wedding day, with rain forecast literally every hour.
However, we got incredibly lucky, and the rain miraculously stayed away!
I first met Michelle as a bridesmaid at her friend Elyse’s wedding, and it was great to see her again as they traded roles.
Kayla from The Peach Veil made sure that the day ran smoothly and the day was filled with surprises for their wedding guests.
The first of which was a live painter who captured the couple’s exit after the ceremony.
The sparkliest surprise came toward the end of the evening, where guests were directed to the lakefront and treated to a beautiful fireworks display!
Thank you, Michelle and Ross, for having me there to capture your magnificent day! Congratulations!
XOXO,
B
