Timing is everything, especially when it comes to relationships.
Ryan first met Leslie in elementary school, and they journeyed through their education side by side all the way through college.
Although they were friends, they drifted apart over the years.
Before they knew it, it was time for their ten year high school reunion and they both attended.
They struck up a conversation during the event and it was like no time had passed at all.
According to Leslie, the rest is history!
Speaking of history, Leslie and I go way back too- all the way to my freshman year at FSU (if you scroll down to the bottom of the post, you’ll see a fun photo of us together from those times!)
Leslie is my big sister in my sorority and was the one who introduced me to all the fun parts of college.
It is amazing to have things come full circle and see her and Ryan so happy together and get to be part of such a special time in their lives.
Matthew and I spent the weekend in Tallahassee with these two and had a wonderful time.
Maclay Gardens served as the spectacular backdrop for their engagement pictures and it was perfect!
In true Florida fashion, it was a bit toasty out, so Leslie and Ryan packed some beverages to bring along to the shoot.
They ended up functioning both as props and a refreshing treat for the happy couple 🙂
Congratulations Leslie and Ryan!! We’re so happy for you and cannot wait for your seaside wedding next spring!
XOXO,
B
As promised, here’s the throwback photo of Leslie and I.
This is from a disposable film camera and that is Janet Reno in the middle of all of us.
There are too many hilarious things going on in this picture for me to count them all!
