If you ask Matthew, he’ll tell you I have a magazine “problem.”
I prefer to think of it as an avid appreciation of printed materials with pretty pictures.
Either way, I’m a big fan of magazines and subscribe to a few of them.
Just a few…
Pictured above: Cooking Light, Better Homes and Gardens, Southern Living, Good Housekeeping, O Magazine, Real Simple, and Martha Stewart Living.
There are actually a few more that aren’t pictured here; these were the ones that were easiest to find.
I love the design aspect of magazines, but I also really enjoy the content in the ones I subscribe to.
I’ve subscribed to Real Simple the longest, and I save those issues for last and read them after I’m done with all of the other ones.
I adore the photography they feature in the magazine- the images are crisp, bright, and cheerful.
Snuggling up on the couch with my puppy and hubby while reading a magazine is one of the simplest pleasures, yet it brings me so much happiness!
While I read I fold the pages of things that interest me, or recipes that I’d like to try.
When I’m done reading the magazine, I go back to all of the folded pages and pin whatever caught my eye on Pinterest so that I’ll be able to reference it later.
I used to rip out all the pages and put them on the fridge in a clip; I’m so glad I don’t do that anymore!
When I’m done reading the magazines, I either save them for my mom (if she’s visiting soon) or give them to Matthew to put in the waiting room at his office.
