2020 has certainly been a roller coaster of a year!
Events are starting to come back, although they are a lot smaller than they used to be.
Personally, I love intimate gatherings because they allow the bride and groom to actually spend time with those who are most important to them.
Elyse + Sean’s Kiawah Island Ocean Course wedding was the most perfect welcome back to the world of weddings!
The day started in a suite at The Sanctuary, where we also did the first look and the ketubah signing.
After the ketubah was signed, it was time to make the scenic drive over to the Ocean Course.
Friends and family joined in via Zoom as Elyse walked down the aisle to the sound of a pianist playing a piece that her father composed especially for her wedding day.
The fabulous Rabbi Berg (who also came in from Atlanta!) married Elyse and Sean in a lovely and emotional ceremony.
Following the ceremony, the newlyweds and I had time for portraits in the gorgeous golden hour glow. It was incredible!
The couple rejoined their guests for a fantastic private feast tucked away in a room at the Atlantic Room.
It was a magnificent day all around and definitely proof that you don’t need a ton of guests to have a wonderful wedding!
Congratulations Elyse and Sean! Thank you so much for having me be a part of your gorgeous celebration!
XOXO,
B
