There were many times (mostly during exams) that I thought this law school thing would never end. Coming to law school changed my life, and that’s not an exaggeration. The first day of school I met the man that would become my husband (although I sure didn’t know it then) and I love the path my life has taken since then. I’ve made great friends, and learned all kinds of lessons that have nothing to do with the law.
My former roomate and dear friend Afiya asked me to take pictures of her in her cap and gown, and I was happy to oblige. It’s always way easier to take cap and gown pictures before actual graduation day, when everyone and their mother (literally) is scrambling for some snapshots to remember the day.
It’s been three years to the day since I graduated from FSU, and the photo shoot today reminded me of the pictures my friends and I took before graduation. My little sister in the sorority actually took the picture, and it’s one of my favorites 🙂
This is me with two of my best friends right before we graduated from FSU. I’m the one all the way to the right. We’re all married now, and were all in each other’s weddings 🙂 None of us had met our husbands yet when the picture was taken. It’s a great reminder of how life can change so much in a short amount of time.
Enough with the reminiscing… Onto to some pictures from today!
