Baby Brooklyn first had her pictures done with us when she was nine months old.  She recently turned one and her gracious parents had Matthew and I over for a cookout the day before the Fourth of July.  We had a great time, and although I should be studying for the bar I edited Brooklyn’s pictures instead.  I couldn’t resist.

I’m an only child and really close to my parents, so whenever I’m done editing a shoot, I e-mail them and show them some of my favorites.  My dad is a man of few words, but the words he picks always make me smile.  This was his response to the pictures from this shoot:

Brooklyn is a one-year-old treasure.  The photographer has been a treasure for twenty-five years.

Awww…Don’t you just love him?  My Daddy is the best 🙂

Those are her eyes guys…I didn’t change the color of them at all.  It’s amazing.
