Any time we have the chance to photograph a wedding styled and planned by Susan Graham I get so excited.
She creates the most gorgeous events with the sweetest couples!
Recently we had the pleasure of escaping winter weather and heading to beautiful Harbour Island in the Bahamas for Meg + Stephen’s wedding.
Harbour Island is like a secret paradise tucked away in clear blue waters of the Caribbean.
To get there you have to fly into Miami, take a small plane to Eleuthera, take a cab from the airport to get on a ferry, then take the ferry to Harbour Island.
Once you arrive on Harbour Island, golf carts are the main form of transportation and you instantly fall in love with island living.
Meg and Stephen were married at historic St. John’s Anglican Church and then had their reception at the lovely Runaway Hill Inn.
The magical thing about Harbour Island is that everyone you meet treats you like family.
It’s such a warm and welcoming place which makes it absolutely perfect for an intimate destination wedding like this one.
Speaking of warm and welcoming, both Meg and Stephen’s families were unbelievably sweet, it was such a pleasure working with all of them!
Many thanks to everyone involved for having us along for such an amazing celebration! It was a weekend we’ll never forget!
XOXO,
B
Hi there, your photos are beautiful! This wedding looked so fun. My sister is looking to get married on Harbour Island next year and loves the idea of a save the date map. Any chance you could share where they purchased their save the dates? Thanks!
