I’ve been thinking for a while that I’d like to do some kind of weekly post with a recurring theme, but until this week I wasn’t really inspired with a specific direction to go with it.
While grocery shopping the other day I impulsively bought a bouquet of tulips I saw.
As I put them in the cart I thought to myself that although we didn’t NEED fresh flowers in the house, it’s a little thing that goes a long way in making me happy.
Little things like that are always worth it.
That was all the inspiration I needed to start this series of blog posts!
I’m going to try my best to blog every week about a little thing that brings me happiness.
The real world can get very hectic at times and I wanted to remind myself (and you too!) to stop stressing so much and find peace in the small bits of happiness in everyday life.
If you’d like to leave me a comment and tell me about something or someone who made you happy this week, all the better!
This week’s happy little thing is my bouquet of pretty spring flowers that are gracing my desk at the moment.
Enjoy!
XOXO,
B
My four month old niece just smiling into nothingness made me happy this week.
Having you for a daughter has brought me daily happiness (most days) since your birth! However, this morning reading about your idea of blogging on a weekly basis about the little things in life that bring happiness to you and others, brought a smile to my face and even more happiness. We, the old and young alike, especially the young, would indeed benefit in taking a moment to reflect and write down something that made us happy on any given week! Love your idea – stay with it!
