A few days after Christmas I photographed a 50th anniversary party at the beautiful Stonewall Manor up in Cartersville, Georgia. I adore spending time with couples that have been married so long and their families, it always makes me smile. Seeing two people who have been in love for so long and have all these children and grandchildren is so amazing! It is always an honor to take part in such a wonderful celebration of love and family and I had a great time.
They couldn’t have picked a better place for a party than Stonewall Manor. An old home filled with charm and character, it is a delightful venue for an event of any kind. The house was still decorated for Christmas and bits of 50th anniversary flair added to the festive atmosphere.
Before I left the owner of Stonewall Manor, Penni, was kind enough to prepare food to go for me and even gave me a box to bring home to Matthew. When I got home we both devoured it and I can honestly say it was spectacular!
