One fateful day at Duke University, Cheryl was visiting a friend’s dorm and heard the soft strumming of a guitar nearby.
She and her friend poked their heads outside to see where it was coming from, and they saw a boy sitting there playing.
Cheryl’s friend explained, Oh, that’s Matt. He’s a nice guy, you should meet him.
Introductions were made and thus a new friendship began between the two.
As happens with some lucky friendships, a relationship eventually blossomed between the two.
The love that they had for each other carried them through their college years and beyond.
Now the boy with the guitar is getting to marry the girl of his dreams, and we got to incorporate that special detail (along with a few other personal touches) into their engagement shoot.
Matt and Cheryl are an absolute joy to be around and are so in love you can’t help but smile when you see them together.
Cheryl has this delightful infectious laughter, and the three of us spent the majority of the session giggling about one thing or another.
I love it when couples aren’t afraid to just let loose and enjoy a good belly laugh, it really makes pictures so much more alive!
Thank you Cheryl and Matt for just being you. I can’t wait for your wedding this fall and all the fun times that it will surely bring!
XOXO,
B
Adorable couple! Love the shot of the flowers atop the guitar atop the quilt! Wedding date will be easy to remember! 🙂
