Nina likes to be prepared. I do too, so I can appreciate that quality in another person, especially a bride!
She arrived at our first meeting with all of the vital information for the ceremony and reception locations as well as…wait for it…a complete timeline for the wedding day, including a scheduled first look and time for even more pictures upon arriving at the reception venue.
Be still my heart! I threw my arms around her and thanked her for being so fabulous.
However, when Justin proposed to Nina, he caught her by surprise.
She came home from work one day and found him in her living room, with rose petals scattered and candles lit.
Uh-oh.
Knowing that she wasn’t quite prepared for what was coming next, Nina rushed past him and up the stairs, calling down to him as she went:
Wait! Wait! I’m not ready yet! Give me five minutes!
Although those five minutes felt like forever to Justin, they flew by for Nina as she reapplied her makeup and quickly fixed her hair.
If there happen to be any guys reading this who are about to propose, know this: every girl wants to look beautiful when they get engaged.
There will always be pictures involved that inevitably end up on Facebook or in e-mails to family members, and we want to look pretty in those pictures!
I have friends who have been married for years who were proposed to while wearing a t-shirt and no makeup and they still talk about how they wish they’d been more ready for it.
Anyhow, back to our story…
Nina went back downstairs where Justin was waiting nervously. After some sweet words, he asked her to marry him and of course she said yes!
We met up recently in downtown Roswell for their engagement session, which is the same area that their wedding reception will be held.
We wandered around and discovered lots of neat places for photos.
Nina and Justin, thanks so much for being so sweet and wonderful to work with. I can’t wait for your wedding this fall and all the time we’ll have to take beautiful pictures together!

The pictures are beautiful, but the couple is gorgeous. Love is
