I often work together with our brides on their wedding day timeline to ensure that they have plenty of time for both preparation and pictures.
Helpful hint: Hair and makeup ALWAYS take longer than you think!!
When it came time for Erin and I to discuss her schedule, she was happy to let me help.
I trust you completely. That’s one of the main reasons why I hired you. Just tell me where you want me to be and what time you want me to get there and I’ll make it happen.
Those words are music to a photographer’s ears!
Because Erin’s wedding took place in December (on New Year’s Eve!!) there was a limited amount of sunlight, so we planned the entire day around sunset and the optimal time for photos.
The day had a few delays (all weddings do!) but I’d built extra time into the schedule in anticipation of them, so everything worked out just fine.
Erin and Paul had their first look on the porch of the lovely Constance Manor and afterwards we were able to include their furry children in some family pictures!
As a dog lover, the inclusion of their pups in the celebration was lots of fun!
The pair were wed by Erin’s sweet grandfather, who she affectionately calls “Popsicle.”
The day was filled with so much raw emotion (all of it happy!!) that at times I found myself crying along with everyone else.
We felt so welcomed by both families and were so happy to ring in 2012 with such an amazing group of people.
Erin and Paul, thank you so much for having us, and for being one of the kindest, most appreciative couples we’ve ever had the pleasure of working with.
Congratulations!!
XOXO,
B
This is a wedding after my own heart! I love everything – especially the cake, the bridesmaid dresses… the flowers! The CAKE!
I’ve been noticing that people are incorporating their sweet puppies in their wedding. I love it! These pups are very cute!
