Lanie + Nick’s Carl House wedding combined two of my favorite things: a darling couple and shooting at a new venue.
I’ve photographed weddings at in many places throughout Atlanta (and far beyond!) and it’s always fun to get to explore someplace different.
We were one of the first vendors Lanie booked after she got engaged and I remember her beginning her venue search last year.
After visiting several locations she decided that the Carl House was her favorite. I definitely think she made the right choice!
Lanie and her bridesmaids began the day by getting ready at Chateau Elan and then they made their way over to the wedding venue.
Lanie and Nick chose to do a first look and that gave us plenty of time to photograph them all around the beautiful property.
After their sweet ceremony (complete with funny and touching vows they wrote for each other) the party began.
Lanie and Nick chose to have dueling pianos for their entertainment and it was amazing!
I’d never seen them at a wedding before and I absolutely loved it! The guests did too and spent the whole night dancing and singing along.
Congratulations you two! The wedding was incredible and I know your honeymoon is too!

B
