When I walked into the room where Megan was getting ready the first thing I heard was a bridesmaid chirp:
Hiiii Becca! How’s Maccabee? I just love seeing his pictures on Facebook!
You see, this crew and I have gotten together a few times before…
I first met Megan when she was maid of honor in her best friend Jennifer’s wedding.
Then last winter I met Tripp’s whole family when I photographed his sister Erin’s wedding.
It’s so wonderful to shoot a wedding where we already know most of the people involved and everyone is comfortable being themselves around us.
When Megan and Tripp first told me they chose Barnsley Gardens as their wedding venue I was so excited!
It is a breathtaking resort and was the perfect place for their celebration.
The whole day was filled with a wonderful combination of personal touches and the utmost attention to making guests comfortable.
Tripp’s grandfather did a wonderful job officiating the ceremony and party goers were thrilled that the tent for the reception had air conditioning (amazing on a day with temps soaring above 90°!)
This was our first time shooting a wedding with Band X performing and they were absolutely incredible.
The reception was amazing, complete with meaningful toasts (and even a poem!) and a packed dance floor.
Megan and Tripp, thank you so much for having us along on your wedding day. It was great to see so many familiar faces and to make new friends!
Congratulations!!
XOXO,
B
