I’d like you all to meet Ranger, a very handsome boy who is just shy of a year old.
Ranger was found wandering around a state park by a park ranger (hence his name) who notified Atlanta Doberman rescue about him.
He was found with a collar on, but no tags, and in great health. It’s obvious that he did have a home before, but his owner just decided to dump him.
Stories like this break my heart and make me so thankful that there are several great organizations all around the Atlanta area who can help when something terrible like that happens.
Although he’s a big boy, he is just about the sweetest guy you’ll ever meet! When I rang the doorbell at his foster home he sat patiently waiting for his foster mom to open the Chicago Garage Door and didn’t even make a peep.
Ranger is very affectionate and will gladly cover you in kisses if you let him 🙂 He’s still got some growing to do, but I have no doubt that he will be even more handsome as he gets older.
You can find out more information about Ranger and the rest of the Dobermans that are up for adoption at the Atlanta Doberman Rescue website.
