As some of you know, we have a Doberman named Maccabee who is our four legged child. Matthew grew up with Dobermans and when his parents arranged for us to get one of our own, we jumped at the chance!
Atlanta Doberman Rescue is a local group that is devoted exclusively to finding new homes for lost and abandoned Dobermans. I e-mailed their director a while back to ask if I could photograph the dogs who were up for adoption. Oftentimes on websites like https://spectrum-canine.com/main/train-your-dog-with-professional-dog-trainers/ where pets are up for adoption, their picture can be the difference in whether or not they get adopted or just passed over.
I wanted to make sure that the Dobermans in Atlanta have a great chance at finding a great home and got the opportunity to take pictures of two of the dogs earlier this week. I had a great time meeting Jane, the director of the rescue group and the dogs.
I’ll be taking pictures of more dogs in the future, so please keep checking back on either my website or over on Atlanta Doberman Rescue’s website for the latest information.
Meet Millie!
Millie is about 7 years old, maybe older. She is housebroken, spayed and up to date on vaccinations. She is almost solid black. She gets along fine with other dogs, but she doesn’t play with them.
Millie is sweet and affectionate and craves human affection. She will follow you anywhere. She is easy to live with. She’s quiet and isn’t destructive in any way.
Meet Betty. She’s not yet available for adoption, but she will be very soon. Her cute face was too adorable for me to resist posting it! She’s a sweet girl who wiggles her whole body when you pet her and give her love. She’s good at following commands and has a great attitude.
These are so sweet! I am so glad you gave these wonderful pups a chance to have glamor shots and a better chance at adoption!
you should come to Good Mews sometime and get some kitty shots!
